My works are now on show at two collective exhibitions
One of exhibitions, "Il riflesslo, il dubbio, la minaccia" at the Villa Constantino in Alghero in Sardinia in Italy. The exhibition closes on October 23rd. This is a sequel to an epynomous show which was last year in Corsica.
The other exhibition is part of the contemporary art collection of Conseil géneral de la Sein-Sant-Denis. It is at Chateau de Saint-Ouen in Paris, France and will be open to October 26th.
In preparation: An exhibition called "Indigo" in Kopavogur Art Museum in Iceland. This is a collective exhibition where a few artists show their thoughts on the most peculiar colour Indigo. The exhibition will open in January 2007.
I am mostly working on two big projects right now.
At the end of the month a work will be put up in a new annex to the Dvalarheimilið Hlíð in Akureyri, Iceland. The work consists of coloured glass sheets and shadows called into existence by designed lighting (see picture of a model in the folder Works). I will put up photos of the work on the site as soon as it is finished.
The other work is done with Fanney Hauksdóttir and the architect studio AVH. In the beginning I was asked to contribute an artwork for the offices of XL Airways in Paris, France but soon it came part of the whole design concept for the offices. See photo.
